Cybernet Announces Partnership with Children’s Hospital of Oakland
Irvine, CA 5/1/19 – Cybernet Manufacturing is pleased to announce that they have signed the Children’s Hospital of Oakland as a new client. The organization will be using Cybernet’s CyberMed NB24, CyberMed S24, and Cybernet iPC R2ix for a variety of applications throughout the facility.
The CyberMed NB24, a medical grade computer powered by hot-swap batteries, will be used in conjunction with non-powered carts, while the CyberMed S24 will be used on powered carts. It was important for Children’s Hospital of Oakland to find a solution that didn’t interrupt or alter current workflow. Cybernet’s units have antimicrobial* casing to protect the computer from degradation or deterioration, 60601-1 certified, and IP65 rated, meeting suggested best practices for IT hardware in a medical facility.
The Cybernet iPC R2ix mini rugged PC is being used as a controller for ventilation monitors, and as a data relay sending real-time monitoring information to healthcare practitioners. By switching to Cybernet, Children’s Hospital of Oakland is able to minimize the number of vendors that they have to deal with for IT support.
