The Touch on My CyberMed/Cybernet-T10 Tablet is Not Working After a Fresh Windows 8 Install

After performing a full installation of Windows 8 from disc on your CyberMed T10 Tablet, touch may not be detected correctly. If you are in the middle of the Windows installation and touch stops working, you will need to connect a USB keyboard, in order to finish your installation and to correct touch.

After the installation is complete, the System page will state: Pen and Touch: No Pen or Touch Input is available for this Display

Once your Windows installation is complete, you will want to navigate to the Search screen. In the search box, enter "command" When the Command Prompt apps shows up, right click the icon. This will bring up some selections at the bottom of the page. You will want to select "Run as Administrator."

Enter the following exactly as you see it here and hit enter:

bcdedit.exe -set loadoptions DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS

This should return: "The operation completed successfully"

Now enter the following presicely and hit enter:

bcdedit.exe -set TESTSIGNING ON

Once again, you will get a message saying "The operation completed successfully" Type "exit" and hit enter to close the command prompt window.

Now all you need to do is reboot your tablet, which will cause Windows to recognize touch. If you navigate to System Properties, you will find the following message: Pen and Touch : Full Windows Touch Support with 10 Touch Points.
