What are Nits?

The brightness of an LCD screen is measured in units called nits. If an LCD display is rated at 300 nits, or 300 cd/m2, it means that the ratio between the whitest white and blackest black is 300 to 1. The greater the number of nits indicated, the greater the brightness of the screen. Updated: October 3, 2017
The LCD panels in our iOne-GX31 & iOne-945 units have a White Luminance(Brightness) value of 300 cd/m2, or 300 nits.
The iOne-MP171 and iOne-MP172 has a White Luminance(Brightness) value of 380 cd/m2, or 380 nits.
The i-One M661S unit has a White Luminance(Brightness) value of 300 cd/m2, or 300 nits.
